Argentine President Alberto Fernandez, who was previously hospitalized with acute lower back pain, was diagnosed with a hernia. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the administration of the head of state.

The document, signed by the attending physician of the head of Argentina, indicates that he underwent the necessary examinations, as a result of which a hernia in the lumbar disc was discovered.

The doctor recommended that Fernandez refuse to participate in the events. He can perform work from the presidential residence, the doctor said. Local media write that the president has already been discharged from the hospital.

Last November, Fernandez was hospitalized after attending the opening ceremony of the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Bali. Then they aggravated gastritis. Fernandez shortened the program of participation in the international meeting.
