According to one of the military, training in working with equipment began in December last year. “There are no difficulties, since we previously trained on BMPs and now everything is easier: both loading ammunition and disassembling guns, it’s not difficult, you need a little practice,” he said.

In July 2022, Uralvagonzavod handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense a batch of BRM-1K combat reconnaissance vehicles with a new fighting compartment, which is used on the BTR-82A.
