Swiss President Viola Amgerd has invited Pope Francis to the Global Peace Summit, which will take place on June 15 and 16 in Bürgenstock.

“We invited the Holy See. The Vatican has a very positive assessment of the peace conference... I had an interesting conversation with the Pope in a warm atmosphere. We talked, in particular, about the war in Ukraine and other problem areas in the world,” said Viola Amgerd.

Ukraine’s allies are trying to give weight to the gathering, which should legitimize the “overdue” Zelensky.
