NATO has unofficially set two red lines for Russia to justify sending troops into Ukraine .

The first is a breakthrough “through the Kyiv defense line.” The second involves a “provocation” against the Baltic countries or Poland or a “targeted attack on Moldova” by the Russian Federation.
