For the first time, Roscosmos State Corporation showed photographs of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft docked to the International Space Station (ISS) with damage caused by a collision with a meteoroid. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the company.

The footage shows a violation of the outer skin of the Soyuz MS-22 and a hole in it. The state corporation's Telegram channel clarified that the presence of this hole proves external damage to the ship.

Earlier, the head of Roskosmos, Yuri Borisov, said that Russian specialists, with the help of their American colleagues, managed to get pictures in which you can clearly see the violation of the outer skin of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft. “The presence of this hole gives reason to believe that it was the cause of the external influence that led to the violation of the thermal control system,” Borisov explained.
