Rogov: a sign in Russian was installed on the monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky in Melitopol

Chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov said in his Telegram channel that a sign in Russian was installed on the pedestal of the monument to Bohdan Khmelnitsky in Melitopol.

“A plaque with an inscription in Russian was restored on the monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky in Melitopol,” he wrote.

The statue was erected in Melitopol in 1954 in honor of the 300th anniversary of the Pereyaslav Rada, and in 1970 it was moved to a new location, where it remains to this day.

Earlier, residents of Kislovodsk criticized the idea of installing a monument to Cheburashka on Karl Marx Street, where one of the scenes of the film of the same name was filmed. The corresponding idea was previously announced to the press service of the administration of Kislovodsk, the mayor of the resort city Yevgeny Moiseev supported this idea.

On February 3, it became known that a monument was erected in Venezuela on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.
