Newsweek: More than 40% of Americans believe that secret documents were deliberately kept by Biden

According to a study by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, about half of Americans believe that secret documents found in the home and former office of US President Joe Biden were deliberately kept there. It is reported by Newsweek.

The publication notes that 43% of US citizens believe that Biden and / or his employees "possibly deliberately kept" classified documents. About 34% suggest that the documents were kept, “perhaps by mistake”, another 23% of respondents found it difficult to answer.

According to 42% of respondents, the topic of secret documents found in the possession of the President of the United States is "overblown".

65% of all respondents were in favor of searches by the FBI on all Biden properties.

Earlier, representatives of the US Department of Justice raided the home of US President Joe Biden in Rehoboth Beach (Delaware) as part of an investigation into the improper storage of classified materials when he was vice president. Secret documents were not found.

The search lasted 3.5 hours, the FBI agents took with them handwritten notes and some materials for further study.
