Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Denmark Vladimir Barbin said that Denmark does not provide any information on the progress and results of the investigation into the explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines, there is no cooperation with the Russian Federation, in this regard, the secrecy of the investigation raises many legitimate questions. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, systematic work was carried out in 2019-2021 to promote political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Denmark. Despite US opposition, permission from the Danish authorities was obtained for the construction of Nord Stream 2, the diplomat noted.

“At present, the Danish side does not provide any information on the progress and results of the investigation into sabotage against gas pipelines. There is no cooperation with the Russian side. In this regard, the secrecy of the investigation raises many legitimate questions,” he says.

In his opinion, today it is widely recognized that explosions on gas pipelines were carefully prepared.

Earlier in Germany, the Prime Minister of the Federal State of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, said that it was necessary to ensure the safety of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, since this was in the interests of Germany.
