British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley has arrived in Kyiv on a visit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said. In his Telegram channel, he noted that he had held talks with the British minister.

“During the meeting, important topical issues were discussed: Ukraine’s expectation of the Vilnius NATO summit, the promotion of the Ukrainian “peace formula” and the preparation of the Global Summit for its implementation, the London International Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote.

As the President of Ukraine pointed out, Kyiv is grateful to London for its help amid the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict. He also added that he recently spoke with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Earlier, Sunak said that the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance are obliged to develop long-term guarantees for the security of Ukraine. According to him, London supports the possible entry of Kyiv into NATO and is going to send Russia a "very clear signal" of its firm intention to support the Ukrainian side for many years to come.
