Georgia calculates aid to Ukraine in 2022

The Cabinet of Ministers of Georgia has presented its annual report for 2022, which includes state spending on assistance to Ukraine, Novosti.Georgia reports. According to the portal, the Georgian authorities spent about 38 million lari (about $14.5 million) to support Kyiv and Ukrainian refugees living in the republic.

As noted, Georgia provides comprehensive assistance to Ukraine against the backdrop of the continuation of the Russian military special operation. The Georgian government claims that it is about support, both political and humanitarian.

At the same time, the authorities of the republic point to the provision of assistance to more than 26 thousand Ukrainians living in the country. The report of the Georgian government emphasizes that Kyiv was also supported in the international arena, including along the track of Tbilisi's participation in about 500 different declarations on the Ukrainian conflict.

Earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was accused in Georgia of a humiliating and unfair attitude towards the country.
