Olga Kovitidi, a member of the constitutional committee of the Federation Council, expressed the opinion that the United States will continue to seek to create new conflicts in Europe, including Transnistria, by proxy. She said this in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

According to Kovitidi, one must understand that in the near future the United States will try to exacerbate the foreign policy agenda of Europe as much as possible.

“Call it whatever you like: the second front, the third front, the Ukrainian counteroffensive – the meaning does not change, the United States needs to intensify the already paid war with Russia,” the senator said, noting that it does not matter whether the war will be waged by Ukraine or Poland.

Kovitidi stated that "the United States needs a war in Europe against Russia." In her opinion, the United States also needs a war in Transnistria, in which Chisinau will provide maximum assistance to Ukraine.

Earlier, the senator expressed the opinion that a possible US default and the defeat of Ukraine in the conflict with Russia are inextricably linked. According to the senator, the White House is trying to distract American citizens and the rest of the world "from the impending financial catastrophe of the United States, which is inevitably connected with the catastrophe of the Ukrainian counteroffensive."
