The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Twitter denied the information about the rejection of the petition for the dismissal of the head of the Ministry of Culture of the country Oleksandr Tkachenko.

“The collection of signatures for the petition to dismiss Alexander Tkachenko from the post of minister continues,” the Cabinet wrote. According to him, the message about the insufficient number of votes that the author of the initiative received is "the consequence of a logical error in the old petition system." It is clarified that what happened will not affect the further processing of the petition.

Earlier, the proposal to dismiss Tkachenko, published on the website of the Ukrainian government, collected 25,000 votes necessary for it to be considered by the Cabinet. The minister is accused of not keeping his words, "desecrating the memory of all the deceased Heroes of Ukraine" and showing extreme disdain for the fighters who give their lives.
