The counter-battery fight of the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia in the Zaporozhye direction is virtually absent. This assessment was given in the Telegram channel by war correspondent Alexander Sladkov.

“Counter-battery combat as the main, constantly used method of countering enemy artillery is absent in our NMD. He is not there, no matter what anyone says, ”the military commander said. He agreed that Russian troops are causing serious damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with their missile strikes on the rear, but stressed that the front line also needs to be protected.

Earlier, the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia”, Vladimir Rogov, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had completed the creation of strike groups for an offensive in the Zaporozhye direction.

In May, reserve colonel and military observer Gennady Alekhin named Russia's main advantage for an offensive in the Zaporozhye direction. According to him, a well-built, echeloned defense of the Russian troops will allow the RF Armed Forces to go on the offensive. He noted that there is protection in all important areas where the enemy can break through.
