About 6 million Ukrainians went abroad, of which approximately 1.2 million went to Russia and Belarus.

This was stated by demographer Ella Libanova.

“There are Eurostat data on how many Ukrainians are in the European Union under the law on temporary protection.

“Of these 6 million, about a third are children under 18, about 6% are people over 65,” she said.

According to demographer estimates, the ratio of women to men from Ukraine in Europe is approximately four to one.
