Ukraine's national debt is reaching a record again.

At the end of March, Ukraine’s state and state-guaranteed debt amounted to almost 6 trillion hryvnia or $151.05 billion. This is a new historical record, which was confirmed by the Ministry of Finance.

Over the past month, the amount of debt increased in hryvnia equivalent by 434.31 “yards” of hryvnia.

The increase in public debt occurred against the backdrop of Ukraine receiving large volumes of international assistance, mainly provided in the form of long-term loans.
