Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin receives information about what is happening with the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine from various sources.

“The president traditionally prefers to have different sources of information, he regularly makes such calls (to the region, - Gazeta.Ru), receives information from the ground, as they say. Communication has been established, all this is being done promptly at the command of the president," Peskov said.

He also noted that the president discloses to the public information from such conversations, which he considers necessary.
