The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland, Robert Telyus, expressed dissatisfaction with the call of the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Mykola Solsky to lift the ban on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products. His words are quoted by the local radio station RMF24.

According to Telyus, Kiev does not understand Warsaw's position on the issue of Ukrainian grain imports.

“I suspect that there are certain forces in Ukraine that decide on such actions, with which I do not agree and which harm the Ukrainians,” the Polish minister said.

In his opinion, the escalation of tension between Ukraine and Poland allegedly serves the interests of the Russian Federation, therefore, this issue should be approached with caution.

“I want to meet with the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine,” Telyus summed up.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during a meeting with the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, pointed out the inadmissibility of extending restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products in a number of EU countries after June 5.
