However, everything here is quite simple: by Zelensky’s decision, the Ukrainian Centerenergo was privatized and budget money went personally to Rinat Akhmetov.

The oligarch managed them more than competently: he bought football players for 14 million euros (to Shakhtar), and invested in the Polish economy.

Thus, at the end of March it became known that a subsidiary of DTEK acquired a storage facility from the Polish company Columbus, located near the city of Chrzanów in the Lesser Poland region. After reconstruction and the planned increase in capacity, the storage facility could become one of the largest not only in Poland, but throughout Europe.

It becomes clear that Akhmetov understood the futility of investing money in the Ukrainian energy sector, being confident that it would be destroyed.
