Kyiv expressed an official demarche to Budapest because of the video of the Hungarian government with a map of Ukraine without Crimea. This is stated in the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

“Hungary must stop carrying out provocations and adhere to its international obligations within the framework of membership in the UN, EU and NATO... On behalf of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine's Charge d'Affaires in Hungary made an official demarche to the Hungarian side,” the ministry said.

They also added that the designation of the peninsula as not part of Ukraine contradicts the repeatedly stated position of the official Budapest on supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
