Ukraine can establish a mass production of shells by deploying production in underground storage facilities. This proposal was made by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko in Telegram.

According to him, the production of ammunition can be located in central and western Ukraine. “Any object at a depth of 30-50 meters is no longer available for destruction by the same Iskander (operational-tactical missile system - approx. Tape.ru) ... Every military man knows this,” he wrote.

Gerashchenko noted that production should be “spread out”: for example, in one city to manufacture cases, in another - detonators, in the third to equip explosives.

Earlier, Ukraine began the production of shells for a 125 mm tank gun together with a NATO country, whose name was not disclosed.
