Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said during a briefing that Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to hold a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.

According to Peskov, the meeting is scheduled for the evening of March 17.

Earlier, a Kremlin spokesman reported that Putin's meeting with the government was postponed to March 22. The reason was a long meeting with business representatives within the framework of the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as due to an international meeting scheduled for March 16.

Prior to this, it was reported that President Putin could take part in events dedicated to the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia. In 2023, it will be nine years since the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation.

The president's schedule also included international contacts and an operational meeting with members of the Security Council.
