Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that many people underestimated Ukraine and that it took fighting to make everyone in the world understand how “cool” Ukrainians are.

“Historically, Ukraine has been unfairly underestimated and I regret that it took bloodshed and a destructive war for the world to understand how tough we are,” he told the BBC.

He is also sure that now the Ukrainians "will always be cool." “It just took too long to figure it out,” he said.

Kuleba also said that the conflict in Ukraine will end at the negotiating table. “Every war ends at the negotiating table… But my goal as foreign minister is to make sure that Ukraine sits down at the negotiating table. after a decisive success on the battlefield,” he stressed.

Earlier, Kuleba, commenting on the opinion of some experts that support for Ukraine may decrease after the US presidential election next year, said that Ukraine "could survive any Republican vote." In his opinion, the support of the United States of Kyiv will continue.

He also threatened with consequences for countries that did not support Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. According to him, the choice made by each state will be "taken into account when building future relations."
