Relations between Russia and China are not subject to interference or threats from third countries. This was stated by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Wang Wenbin, reports TASS.

Wang's statement was a commentary on reports that China allegedly "provides military support to Russia and systematically helps it circumvent sanctions."

“They (the relations between the Russian Federation and China. - Gazeta.Ru) are aimed at improving the well-being of the peoples of the two states, at promoting global development, and are not subject to interference, as well as threats from a third party,” the diplomat emphasized.

The Chinese diplomat noted that the two countries' relations are "open and honest" and aimed at global development.

Earlier, the Kremlin reported that during the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russia, a number of important bilateral agreements would be signed.

The last time the heads of the two countries met was in September 2022 in Samarkand on the sidelines of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. At the end of December 2022, the President of Russia invited the head of China to pay a state visit to Moscow in the spring of 2023.
