The leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Filippo, said that more and more French people began to understand the nature of the conflict in Ukraine. His words are reported by RIA Novosti.

The politician noted that a year ago, French citizens believed that the Ukrainian conflict was between "good and bad." At the same time, Ukrainians were perceived as “good”, and Russia was perceived as a “bad” side.

“A year later, many realized that the conflict began much earlier, not in 2022, that there were many problems,” Filippo stressed.

According to him, earlier in France, many did not even know what Donbass is and where it is located.

Florian Filippo has previously expressed the opinion that France needs to leave NATO, because, according to him, it is the North Atlantic Alliance and the United States that are pushing Europe into a world war.

According to Filippo, NATO and the United States are opposed to the Russian Federation and against China, therefore they follow a "very militant agenda." The politician called for France to "come to its senses" and withdraw from the military-political bloc.
