Brazilian President to visit China from March 26 to 31

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will visit China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. This is reported by Reuters, citing a statement by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is reported that the visit will take place from 26 to 31 March.

It also became known that President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 20-22.

During the talks, the leaders of Russia and China will discuss issues of developing a comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, and exchange views in the context of deepening Russian-Chinese cooperation in the international arena.

On March 13, Fox News reported that Beijing was challenging the United States by ramping up its economic activity in Latin America. The growing influence of China in the region is of increasing concern to Washington, the publication says. Journalists note that China's inconspicuous expansion in the Southern Hemisphere is increasingly attracting the attention of representatives of the US Department of Defense and lawmakers.
