Russian President Vladimir Putin is trusted by 77% of Russians, the results of a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation showed.

According to the survey, 80% of respondents positively assess the work of the president in his post. At the same time, 10% of respondents hold the opposite opinion.

77% of Russians trust Putin, 13% expressed no confidence, another 10% of respondents found it difficult to give any answer. 54% of respondents believe that the Russian government is working well.

The survey was conducted from 10 to 12 March. It was attended by 1.5 thousand people over the age of 18.

On March 10, VTsIOM reported that the level of confidence of Russians in President Vladimir Putin is 80%. Another 76.7% approved of his activities.

More than half of the respondents positively assessed the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the government of the Russian Federation. The figures were 53.3% and 52.1% respectively.
