The Bukhara Regional Court in Uzbekistan issued a decision on the participants in the riots that occurred on July 1 and 2, 2022 in Nukus. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the department.

It is alleged that on March 17 a decision was made against 39 participants who rioted in the city. The court sentenced 37 of them to imprisonment for a term of 5 to 12 years. It was decided to sentence two more to “restriction of freedom”.
