Ukraine announced the expansion of the mined strip along the border with Belarus and Russia to two kilometers. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the border service of Ukraine.

“The strip along the Ukrainian-Russian and Ukrainian-Belarusian border will increase to two kilometers in width. In practice, it will be a mined area, ”the ministry said in a statement. In addition, the Border Service noted that the Verkhovna Rada had settled the issue of involving the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the National Guard and the police to perform the duties of border guards.
