The interim (acting) head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin opposed the immediate completion of the special military operation (SVO). So in his Telegram channel, he commented on the proposals of the PRC to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

“To terminate the NWO without achieving its goals simply means postponing a new war to a later date. This means that China’s plan cannot be called acceptable on the relevant “Ukrainian” points, but it clearly demonstrates the difference in approaches,” Pushilin said.

According to him, Beijing in its document advocates "extinguishing the fire with water," while Washington proposes to extinguish it with gasoline. “Positions are becoming more and more radicalized, and vectors are diverging,” he said.

Earlier on February 24, the Chinese authorities presented a plan to achieve peace in Ukraine. It consists of 12 items. In them, Beijing calls for an end to hostilities and the resumption of a peaceful dialogue between Kiev and Moscow. The PRC also called on the parties to the conflict to abandon the Cold War mentality.

Later, State Duma deputy Aleksey Chepa called this document "very verified." In Ukraine, China's proposals were considered unacceptable. At the same time, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that he did not consider this document a peace plan. “This is a position paper,” he said.
