The Russian Air Defense Forces (Air Defense) shot down four HIMARS and Uragan rockets fired by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a day. This was reported on Friday, February 24, in the official Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, in addition to the destroyed Russian air defense missiles, six Ukrainian drones were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Merefa, Liman Vtoroy in the Kharkiv region, Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk People's Republic, Holaya Pristan and Novaya Zburyevka in the Kherson region.

Earlier, on February 24, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 60 military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction and the elimination of four ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
