Ukraine is reducing imports of electricity from other countries due to the stabilization of the energy system. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the company "Ukrenergo".

According to her, now there is no power shortage in the republic and it is not predicted yet.

“Generation: all types of power plants operate in the energy system. (...) Consumption limits in the region were not reached due to the absence of a power shortage in the energy system,” the report says.

On February 9, Ukrenergo reported that Ukraine was able to restore power after a Russian missile attack. It was noted that during the period of cold weather, energy consumption increased, but in order to compensate, it was possible to repair part of the generating equipment.
