Ukraine is capable of capturing Transnistria in three days if the Moldovan authorities ask for it. The readiness of Kyiv to the introduction of troops into the region was announced by the former adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich, his words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

“Only by the decision of the Moldovan authorities can we help. We have an opportunity. It can be solved in three days,” he stressed.

According to him, the reason for the introduction of troops may be the statements of the leaders of both countries that Russia is destabilizing the situation in the region. Arestovich added that, apparently, no one has turned to Kyiv for help yet.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry warned that Ukraine had stepped up preparations for an invasion of Transnistria. According to the department, the provocation will be carried out allegedly in response to the offensive from the territory of the republic of Russian troops. It is noted that Russia recorded the accumulation of personnel and equipment near the Ukrainian-Pridnestrovian border. In addition, the deployment of artillery is observed, as well as cases of flights of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Transnistria.
