The field commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the call sign "Magyar" said that the situation in Artemivsk (Ukrainian name - Bakhmut) has become much more complicated. A video with his appeal was published by the Telegram channel “Military correspondents of the Russian Spring”.

According to the serviceman, there are fierce battles in the city, the fighters of the private military company (PMC) "Wagner" break through on the northern flank with the intention of encircling the settlement.

Magyar noted that the road to Chasov Yar through Khromovo is under aimed fire from the Russian Armed Forces, and fighting continues in the southern direction.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the situation in the eastern direction of hostilities is very difficult. The head of state added that the situation in the southern direction of the front is quite dangerous, assuring that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to repulse the Russian troops.
