Retired Turkish Armed Forces General Yucel Karauz assessed the prospects for Kyiv's strike deep into Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

The military expert said that Ukraine would not dare to strike deep into the country, knowing the consequences. Carauz stressed that the West, by sending long-range missiles to Kyiv, is in fact openly declaring its goals.

"Ukraine's strike using these missiles deep into the territory of Russia - against Moscow or St. Petersburg, is impossible to imagine, since this is illegal and imprudent," the expert noted. Karauz also said that the West is trying to open a new front against Russia in the South Caucasus. “The inclusion of French gendarmes and German police in the EU mission is nothing more than a disservice,” he said.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Yuri Shvytkin doubted that Kyiv would not use long-range weapons and fighter jets to attack Russia. “In no case can be trusted. This statement is being made so that Western countries will supply these fighters. Such soothing, lulling statements are made in any way, ”Shvytkin believes.
