During the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, four ambulance workers who arrived to help the wounded were killed. This was announced on Thursday, February 23, by the Ministry of Health of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), TASS reports.

“The paramedic who was wounded died,” the agency was told. It is known that the entire brigade died: two paramedics - women born in 1998 and 1993, an orderly and a driver.

Earlier, a representative of the power structures of the DPR announced three dead.

The administration of the Petrovsky district reported that the ambulance brigade came under repeated fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Then it was reported about the deceased employee, data on the condition of three more were specified.

On February 19, the mayor of the city, Aleksey Kulemzin, said that a hostel and a gymnasium were damaged during Ukrainian shelling. Part of the shells fell on the sports ground of the school and the territory of the kindergarten. The explosion also damaged cars near the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral.
