Ruben Vardanyan has been relieved of the post of head of the government of Nagorno-Karabakh. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the head of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Arayik Harutyunyan.

Harutyunyan read the corresponding decree on Thursday at a government meeting. The place of Vardanyan, who left his post, was offered to the Prosecutor General of the unrecognized republic, Gurgen Nersisyan.
