Powerful explosions sounded in Odessa and Kyiv, Ukrainian media write.

A column of black smoke appeared in the center of Odessa after the explosion, writes the Klymenko Time Telegram channel. It is noted that the cause of the incident is still unknown. However, the publication clarifies that the fire and explosion, obviously, are not connected.

At the same time, no air alert was announced in the region, and local authorities also did not comment.

The Ukrainian edition "Strana" also reported explosions in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, and an air alert was announced. According to media reports, the air defense system is probably working.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine decided to send employees of the military registration and enlistment offices to the front line in the zone of the special military operation.
