Moldovan President Maia Sandu asked US counterpart Joe Biden to increase financial assistance to Chisinau. She wrote about this on her Facebook (the social network is banned in Russia; it belongs to Meta, which is recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

“We took the opportunity of this meeting [in Warsaw] to convey to the President of the United States of America that, in the difficult situation we are in, (…) we need US support even more to strengthen our economic resilience,” she wrote.
