Latvian Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevich called it regrettable that Russia is suspending participation in the Treaty on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (START, START-III). He wrote about this on Twitter.

“Putin's speech and actions show that Russia wants this war and will continue it. Our only response should be even more support for Ukraine and more pressure on Russia and Belarus,” the minister said.
