Western countries gave Kyiv less than half of the aid they promised. Ukraine expects to receive another approximately 33 billion euros, according to the Financial Times, citing an analysis by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

“The Ministry of Finance received by December 2022 31 billion euros of the 64 billion euros promised by Western countries,” the newspaper writes.

It is specified that the United States has not yet transferred about 12 billion euros to Kyiv, and European institutions "owe" about 17.5 billion euros. According to adviser to the President of Ukraine Tymofiy Milovanov, payments from Western countries are not stable. He added that Kyiv's partners are constantly late with the transfer of funds.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba announced preparations for a big battle on two fronts - diplomatic and military. He noted that a meeting of the leaders of the countries of the eastern flank of NATO is planned in the near future, and important decisions are likely to be made on providing further support to Kyiv.
