The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, assessing the possibility of deploying a foreign military contingent in the country in an interview with CNN, said that Kyiv had never asked other states about it, RIA Novosti reports.

“We have never asked for a foreign contingent in Ukraine,” the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, the head of the private military company (PMC) "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the American mercenary Pete Reed in Artemovsk was killed by Ukrainian soldiers or units of foreigners fighting for Ukraine. Prigozhin noted that the place of death of a mercenary from the United States and the positions of PMC "Wagner" were separated by about five kilometers of high-rise buildings, which made hitting a target from such a distance almost impossible.
