In Belarus, a businessman was fined for refusing to sell auto parts to Russian servicemen. This was announced on Monday, February 20, by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic.

65-year-old M. was charged with deliberate restriction of the rights of citizens on a national basis. It was established that on October 20, 2022, the man refused to purchase parts for the vehicle to military personnel from among the citizens of the Russian Federation. He was sentenced to a fine of 11.1 thousand rubles.

At the same time, it is clarified that the verdict has not yet entered into force and can be appealed.

Earlier, President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko said that up to 15,000 Russian military personnel are being trained in Belarus under the agreement on the regional grouping of troops of the Union State. According to the politician, in the event of a possible aggression against Belarus, such a division will be completely at his disposal.

On January 6, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported that a train of military equipment from Russia had arrived in the republic. She was moved to the territory of the country to ensure the security of the Union State.
