The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are deploying reinforcements, laying mines on approaches to their positions and building fortifications near Chasov Yar near Artemivsk. Retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) Andrei Marochko announced on the preparation for defense in Telegram.

“In the area of the settlement of Chasov Yar, an increase in fortifications and a contingent of Ukrainian troops was noted. Active mining of approaches to enemy positions and the construction of other engineering barriers were detected, ”he said.
