President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree enacting the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine to impose sanctions against the Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS for 10 years. The document was published on the website of the office of the head of the Ukrainian state.

The sanctions, in particular, provide for the blocking of assets, the restriction or complete cessation of trade operations, and the prohibition of participation in the privatization and leasing of state property.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against 333 Russian citizens for a period of 10 years. In early February, the President of Ukraine announced the imposition of sanctions against 200 companies and enterprises in the Russian nuclear industry, including Rosatom and its subsidiaries.
