The survivability in the special military operation zone (SVO) of the small tactical reconnaissance drone MT UAV developed for special forces is 90 percent. Igor Alekseev, Marketing and Development Director of RBS-Harpy LLC, disclosed this information in an interview with TASS.

“The drone showed maximum efficiency in solving the tasks of special forces,” the director said, citing reports from the Russian Defense Ministry.

Alekseev noted that the drone is capable of speeds up to 120 kilometers per hour, and the duration of its flight at maximum work is 40 minutes. Deliveries of MT UAVs to the NVO zone began in May.

The company added that the drone is capable of operating in electronic warfare (EW) conditions at any time of the day within a radius of up to 10 kilometers.

“The drone is perfectly applicable for reconnaissance of the area when performing special operations, aiming artillery, as well as eliminating enemy moving forces by delivering and dropping special cargo,” the specialist said.

In September 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the country's Armed Forces used Zoo-1M radar stations and drones to detect a mock enemy during the Vostok-2022 exercises.
