One of the main advantages of the export version of the Russian anti-aircraft missile system (ZRS) "Vityaz" is an uninhabited radar, which allows you to save the lives of combat crews. A representative of the design bureau of the Aerospace Defense Concern (VKO) Almaz-Antey told TASS about this at the international exhibition Aero India 2023.

“As you know, radars are the most visible, they are easy to detect by radiation. The enemy tries to destroy it first of all by various means. Therefore, here we protect people, we protect calculations, ”said the specialist.

He also named another feature of the Vityaz. “You don’t have to keep everything at one point, it’s beneficial in terms of survivability. If the enemy used modern weapons at the place where you gathered at one point, then you have lost everything. And here you can stretch the system over the terrain, ”the specialist added.
