US showed B-1B Lancer bombers in India

The United States displayed two B-1B Lancer strategic bombers during the Aero India 2023 international aviation exhibition at the Yelahanka Air Base in Bangalore in southern India. It is reported by TASS.

Aircraft with variable wing geometry arrived in Bangalore on Tuesday, February 14th. The B-1B is on display at the air show along with the F-35 Lightning II fifth-generation fighter, as well as the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-18 Hornet multi-role fighters.

The US embassy in New Delhi said the B-1Bs flew from South Dakota to the Pacific island of Guam and then to India.

The B-1B Lancer supersonic strategic bomber entered service with the United States Air Force (Air Force) in 1985. Created using radar stealth technologies, the aircraft develops speeds up to Mach 1.25. The B-1B can carry bombs and cruise missiles.
