According to Yampolskaya, the first meeting on the relevant issue is scheduled for mid-February. Currently, a number of proposals from deputies of various committees of the lower house have been identified, including the idea of confiscation of property, as well as the deprivation of titles and a ban on the distribution of content in the Russian segment of the Internet.

At the same time, the head of the Constitutional Committee of the Federation Council Andrei Klishas emphasized that this issue cannot be dispensed with “without serious amendments to the Criminal Code, since leaving the country is not a crime.
