Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki said that Palestine will continue to expand cooperation with the Russian Federation. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to the Palestinian Foreign Minister, relations between the two countries are now at a very good level, despite the conflict in Ukraine.

He stressed that Palestine will continue to maintain excellent working relations with the Russian Federation.

“We are proud of our relations with the Russian Federation. …> What is happening in Ukraine will not stop us from turning to Russia for help and renewing, expanding and strengthening our bilateral relations,” Al-Maliki explained.

Earlier, Al-Maliki reported that he appealed to Russia with a request to continue supplying grain to the country. The diplomat clarified that the country needs such a quantity of grain that will satisfy the needs of the people. This issue will be worked out through diplomatic channels between the two countries.
