Member of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov said that former British Prime Minister Liz Truss has a poor starting position for returning to big politics, but has enough pressure and determination. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“He doesn’t understand anything, he doesn’t know anything, he failed everything, but now competence is not much needed in Western politics,” Pushkov wrote.

A member of the Federation Council also added that now in Western politics the times of "demagogy, arrogance and threats" have come.

Earlier, The Times, citing sources, reported that two former British prime ministers Boris Johnson and Liz Truss want to return to big politics in the future.

According to media reports, Truss is preparing to appeal to the wrong course of the economy of his successor, Rishi Sunak, and intends to enter into a correspondence dispute with him by publishing an article about the need to reduce the tax burden on the British.
